No one berates crappy studio animators like John K. He doesn't skimp on examples!
In the above image, Superman shields Wonder Woman with his cape from the terrible dullness of a giant porch. Also they appear to be hovering a few inches above the floor. I guess that makes sense, since Superman can fly.
