What I did over winter break

When my friend's daughter decided to move to NYC, I had promised each of them a piece of embroidery. My idea was to find a personal and specific image that would remind them of one another. I decide on the Erzulie veve for for the daughter as the image is tattooed on her mom's arm and a butterfly for mom to conjure su mariposa of a daughter.
