Raven embroidery

Here is a second piece for the "Embracing the Shadow" show at the OFFCenter community arts center. In the other piece, focusing on Jung himself allowed me to skip right over trying to visualize the shadow.  I kept thinking about monsters, our dark sides, Darth Vader, sharks, etc. But none of that seemed interesting to me.  So, when they suggested I do a second piece, I figured I would do a raven.  I had been wanting to do one and had been collecting raven pictures and everything.  Then I started looking for quotes and found a good Shakepseare quote from  The Tempest. Voila! 

The feet are my favorite part.
