Baby Quiltin' Time

I had a hankering to sew a bunch of cute 1950 style baby animals but that is not the design aesthetic at our house. So, as soon as I knew about the new niece/nephew, I started plotting!  My friend Shirley is the quilter and I am the embroiderer. Together, we are going to make an awesome quilt! 

I have to thank all the folks on Flickr that contribute to the Hoop Love Vintage Transfer pool!  It was great to have so many options for a 12 block quilt!
